I architect clarity across strategy, design, and execution — so complex work moves forward with confidence.

About

Hi, I'm Shirah.

Good systems create clarity. The best ones make room for people. For fifteen years I've stepped into complex, tangled work — across strategy, design, and execution — and made it move forward with confidence. I set the direction, design the architecture, and stay hands-on until it ships.

I care as much about the people using a system as the system itself — governance that holds, platforms that scale, decisions that stick, never at the expense of the humans on the other side of the screen. Philadelphia-based; I played Division I lacrosse, which is where I learned to lead under pressure and be the reliable one when it counts.

What I do

Senior technology leadership, held to outcomes.

Assess & diagnose

I come into a messy platform landscape and tell you the truth about it — what's working, what's costing you, and what to fix first. A prioritized roadmap, not a deck that sits in a drawer.

Architect & align

Target-state architecture across Salesforce, Experience Cloud, events, integration, and identity. I define how the systems fit together — ownership, data flow, governance — not just what gets built.

Lead the change

Multi-million-dollar initiatives, executive reporting, vendor and team wrangling. I've run the programs, not just advised on them — so the roadmap gets delivered.

Services

Scoped to the problem, not a template.

I work with organizations that need executive-level leadership without a full-time hire — during a transformation, a platform migration, a leadership gap, or a moment when the roadmap is bigger than the team.

Ongoing

Fractional executive

Part-time leadership as fractional CIO/CTO or Salesforce/platform exec. I own the strategy and the outcomes, sit in your leadership conversations, and steer delivery.

Typical: monthly retainer · 3–12 months
Focused

Advisory & assessment

A focused engagement to answer a specific question: Is this platform strategy sound? What's our Salesforce roadmap? Build, buy, or consolidate? A clear diagnosis and a prioritized plan.

Typical: 2–6 weeks
Hands-on

Transformation lead

Hands-on leadership of a defined initiative — a migration, a consolidation, a CRM/CX rebuild, M&A systems integration. I run governance, vendors, and delivery end to end.

Typical: project-based, scope-dependent
Where I go deep

Enterprise & solution architecture

Target-state design across Salesforce, Experience Cloud, events, CMS, and data platforms — defining how the systems fit together, not just what gets built.

Governance & operating models

Decision rights, architecture guardrails, vendor controls, and escalation frameworks that outlast any single project.

Integration & data strategy

Cross-platform data flow, identity and SSO, ownership boundaries, and warehouse & reporting integration.

Solution design & requirements

Business needs turned into implementation-ready data models, user stories, security models, and delivery sequencing.

Change management & adoption

Personas, training strategy, stakeholder engagement, and phased rollout that make new platforms actually stick.

Vendor & technical leadership

Leading RFPs, selection, and the technical conversations where partners respond to your frameworks — not the reverse.

Proof

The shape of the work.

Fifteen years leading platforms and programs across nearly every sector — retail, nonprofit, manufacturing, pharma, financial services, food & beverage, higher education, and healthcare & cybersecurity media.

15+
years leading Salesforce & enterprise platform programs
$3M+
in programs & managed services led across sectors
20+
cross-functional delivery team members led at once
10
sectors — retail through cybersecurity media

Recent engagements include standing up a Salesforce engagement platform to replace a sunset vendor, hands-on platform builds at scale — Apex, Lightning, Flows, and custom objects — and enterprise data-quality programs spanning production cleanup, deduplication, and governance, delivered with full backup and audit discipline. Details vary by client and are covered under confidentiality; the work itself is architecture, build, and governance at enterprise scale.

How I think

What that thinking reliably produces.

Strategic Execution

Turning intent into outcomes through disciplined planning and follow-through.

Creative Direction

Setting direction with taste, clarity, and systems that scale.

Human-Centered Design

Designing systems that support real people, not idealized users.

Let's talk about what you're trying to move.

Whether you're mid-transformation, staring down a platform decision, or short a senior technology leader for a stretch — tell me the situation and I'll tell you honestly whether I can help.
